(1) Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship
Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship Program is a fully-funded scholarship for international students who want to go for their PhD studies. This scholarship is valued at $50,000 per year for three years.

Candidates should be pursuing their first doctoral degree (including joint undergraduate/graduate research program such as: MD/PhD, DVM/PhD, JD/PhD – if it has a demonstrated and significant research component). Note that only the PhD portion of a combined degree is eligible for funding.
Candidates should not have completed more than 20 months of doctoral studies as of May 1, 2022

Candidates should be nominated by only one Canadian institution, which must have received a Vanier maCGS quota.
Candidates should have achieved a first-class average, as determined by your institution, in each of the last two years of full-time study or equivalent. Candidates are encouraged to contact the institution for its definition of a first-class average.

Note that: only the PhD portion of a combined degree is eligible for funding, scholarship or fellowship from CIHR, NSERC or SSHRC to undertake or complete a doctoral degree.

(2) Chinese Government Scholarships
The Chinese Government Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship. Only masters and PhD programs are available under this scholarship in more than 280 Chinese Universities.

Chinese Government Scholarship covers accommodation, basic health insurance and monthly allowance up to 3500 Yuan. This scholarship is of three categories:
Type A
Type B
Type C
The Type A category is highly competitive so it is advisable to go for either Type B or C to stand a higher chance of being selected.
